Vinisima is a reading site, not a platform: there are no accounts, no comments, no newsletters unless you explicitly sign up for one, no advertising networks, and no sale of data — full stop. Here is everything we collect and why.
What we collect
- Anonymous page analytics. When you view a page, we record the page path, the approximate location your network request reports (country, region, city — never a precise location), your device class (phone, tablet, desktop), and a random visitor identifier (see cookies below). We do not record your IP address, name, or anything that identifies you personally.
- Outbound click counts. When you click a link to Amazon, we record which product link was clicked, which of our pages it was clicked from, and the same anonymous location/device information — so we can tell which recommendations readers find useful.
This data is stored with our database provider (Supabase, hosted in the United States) and is only ever viewed in aggregate.
Cookies
- One first-party analytics cookie containing a random identifier, so repeat views count as one visitor instead of many. It carries no personal information and is not shared with anyone.
That’s the complete list for readers. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. Blocking cookies does not break the site.

As an Amazon Associate, Vinisima earns from qualifying purchases. When you follow one of our links to Amazon, Amazon knows you arrived from our site (that’s how commissions work) and applies its own privacy policy from that point on. We never see what you buy — only that a link was clicked.
Your choices
Browse with any content blocker and the analytics simply don’t fire — the site works identically. If you’d like any recorded data about your visits removed, email us (below) and describe roughly when you visited; because the data is anonymous, that’s the finest granularity we can act on, and we’ll tell you honestly what we could and couldn’t delete.
